Upon departing Denali in the afternoon, you will enter the scenic Nenana River Canyon, a popular spot for whitewater rafting. Day 05: Eldorado Gold mine & the River boat discover tour.

Board the authentic sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery III for a fully-narrated 3 1/2 hour cruise along the Chena and Tanana Rivers. See a bush pilot demonstration, watch a fish wheel in operation, and see the 'Wedding of the Rivers' where the Chena and Tanana Rivers converge.
Later join the Binkley family for a trip through Alaska's gold mining history at the El Dorado Gold Mine. Ride the Tanana Valley Railroad for an adventure into the gold fields of the Interior. A two-hour guided tour takes you through a permafrost tunnel where Alaska's mining history comes alive.
